Eugenia sp. “Lã de Carneiro” is an ultra-rare Brazilian Eugenia-type Myrtaceae offered under its collector / field name.
The name “Lã de Carneiro” means “Sheep’s Wool” in Portuguese, referring to the unusual flowering display reported for this material: the tree can become covered with a dense layer of white flowers, giving the impression of wool.

Growing notes:
Sow fresh. Eugenia seeds should not be allowed to dry out completely. Use a well-drained but moisture-retentive substrate, such as peat/coir with perlite, vermiculite, fine bark, or similar.
Keep warm, humid, and in bright shade until germination. Avoid waterlogging, especially during early root development.
Young seedlings should be protected from strong direct sun, cold temperatures, drying winds, and stagnant wet soil. Gradually acclimate to stronger light as they grow.
