Description
Very limited stock: from my garden. a Brazilian Sabará type.
This is a very special jaboticaba — a plant that stands apart from every other I’ve grown (no other “Sabará type” has this Dense-Veined network). Originally imported from Brazil and now fruiting beautifully in Junín, Argentina, this variety shows an extraordinary network of secondary and tertiary veins on its leaves — an intricate, almost lace-like pattern you’ll clearly see in the photos. No other jaboticaba in my collection displays such dense venation.
The new leaves flush a deep red several times per year, giving the plant a striking ornamental quality even outside of fruiting season. The fruits themselves reach about 3 cm in diameter, with a rich, sweet flavor and the typical dark, glossy skin of the finest jaboticabas.
