Description
This ultra-rare white-fruited Plinia rara comes from the Atlantic Forest of Bahia, Brazil, in a humid and relatively cool environment. It is a true collector’s item: a striking cauliflorous Plinia with large pale fruits, remarkable ornamental value, and a flavor described by the collector as sweet, with low acidity reminiscent of green apple.
The fruits are exceptionally unusual in appearance, with a creamy white to very pale coloration, and the tree also shows intense reddish new growth, adding another layer of ornamental appeal. According to the collector, fruits may reach very impressive sizes, up to around 10 cm under favorable conditions.
This is not a common jaboticaba-type fruit, nor a variety that circulates widely in cultivation. It belongs to the Plinia group within the jaboticaba lineage, and material of this kind is rarely available even among serious collectors.

Seed Handling
Seeds will be shipped as fresh as possible after arrival and sorting. As with many rare Plinia and jaboticaba relatives, they should be planted promptly upon receipt and kept in a warm, humid, but well-aerated environment.
