This rare Brazilian Pouteria accession comes from the Camacã region of Bahia, within the Atlantic Forest biome.
The seed-source fruit was directly tasted and selected for its eating quality. The pulp was described as completely clean and free from latex, with a very sweet flavor reminiscent of pudding. The tree was also reported to be highly productive.

Germination and care
