Description

Introducing the Peach Cherry of the Rio Grande, a distinctive new variety of Eugenia aff. involucrata unlike any you’ve seen. This precocious cultivar offers incredible traits, making it a must-have for collectors and tropical fruit enthusiasts:

Early Fruiting: This variety starts producing as early as 3 years old, even when the plant is only 50 cm tall — much earlier than typical Eugenia varieties.
Vibrant Orange Fruit: The round fruits have a smooth, glossy, bright orange skin. When opened, they reveal a salmon-colored pulp with a sweet, aromatic taste, reminiscent of peach and apricot.

Each fruit contains 3-5 small seeds, more than usual for Eugenia involucrata, making it an excellent option for propagation.

Unique Flavor: The fruit flavor is sweet and complex, offering notes of peach, apricot, and tropical nuances, setting it apart from standard Eugenia varieties.

Drought Resistant: The deep green, glossy leaves with reddish petioles are slightly leathery, indicating strong resistance to dry conditions.

Limited Stock Available: These seeds are part of our upcoming international shipment, expected to arrive within 3-4 weeks to the USA. We will also include fresh seeds of new Jaboticabas from Corrientes and Eldorado, and possibly Uvaia and more of the standard Orange Cereja do Rio Grande.

Don’t Miss Out! This is a rare opportunity to grow an exceptional, early-bearing variety of Eugenia that stands out for its unique traits and delicious flavor. Reserve your seeds today!
