Description
GOOD NEWS — MOVED FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER PRE-SALE! This seed lot was originally announced for our November Pre-Sale, but it became available earlier than expected and has been moved into our September 2026 Pre-Sale shipment. The seeds are currently in Argentina and are being prepared for the consolidated shipment to the USA. They are not yet in the USA; dispatch timing depends on phytosanitary inspection and international logistics.
Passiflora sidifolia — rare southeastern Brazilian passionflower
Passiflora sidifolia is one of the strongest pure-collector species in this September group, notable for its unusual flower architecture and very limited availability.
Flower
The bloom combines creamy-white segments with an extraordinary hanging corona of long purple-and-white banded filaments, producing a very distinctive appearance.
- Native range: southeastern Brazil.
- Collector value: highly uncommon in general cultivation and seed commerce.
- Ornamental value: remarkable flower structure.
Nomenclature note: the accepted spelling is Passiflora sidifolia. Our original source stock was labeled “sidaefolia,” which is retained in our accession records.
