Description
A rare and promising Eugenia from the Atlantic Forest of Bahia, Brazil, offered here as Eugênia sp. “plinioides”. This species is reported to have a sweet flavor and good pulp, making it especially interesting not only as a collector’s plant, but also as a fruit with real eating quality.
From the photos, it also stands out for its attractive orange fruits and broad, glossy tropical foliage, giving it strong ornamental appeal as well 🌿🧡
