Description
The fruit is described as sweet, juicy, and delicious, with very appealing fresh-eating quality.
What makes this one especially exciting is its fruit: bright orange, distinctly ribbed / pleated, with an unusual sculpted form that immediately sets it apart from more familiar eugenias. The foliage is also attractive, with glossy, narrow leaves and a refined tropical look.
Based on the material currently available, this appears to be a highly uncommon Amazonian Myrtaceae with strong collector appeal. We are intentionally presenting it conservatively and honestly, without forcing an uncertain species name.
Observed features from the collected material:
- glossy, narrow, elegant foliage
- vivid orange fruit
- strongly ribbed / lobed exterior
- orange flesh
- very unusual overall morphology
This listing is especially recommended for collectors of:
- rare Eugenia
- obscure Amazonian Myrtaceae
- unusual fruit forms
- botanically interesting and scarcely available material
As with most fresh tropical Myrtaceae seeds, these should be sown promptly and must not be allowed to dry out.
Extremely limited May/June Pre-Sale.
Because this is a May/June pre-sale item, we strongly recommend combining it with other May/June pre-sale seeds, or with dry seeds currently in stock, so the future shipment becomes more efficient, practical, and cost-effective.
